John 14:2-3 “In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.”
What a wonderful and curious verse. In Greek, the word mansion means dwelling place.
Jesus was reassuring His disciples that though He was leaving them, He would be with them again. Jesus told them to not let their hearts be troubled, and to believe in Him and the Father who sent Him. Jesus was preparing them for the coming tests.
The Creator God was telling them and us that death should not frighten any us.
