Debkafile: “The bomb trap which seriously injured an Israeli officer at the Hizmeh checkpoint north of Jerusalem Tuesday night was primed for a multiple terror attack. The trap consisted of four iron pipe bombs stuffed with explosives, screws and sharp nails. Another five explosive devices, some of which were attached to a gas canister, failed to explode because of a technical malfunction and so averted a major disaster.
The most likely scenario according to our sources was for the terrorists to spring the bomb trap in two wave: the first four to blow up against the IDF patrol and the rest to hit the responders to the first explosion, including rescue teams, and intelligence and senior officers.”
Opinion: Deuteronomy 23:7 “You shall not abhor an Edomite, for he is your brother…” Jacob, whom God named Israel (Gen: 35:10), and Esau, whom God named Edom (Gen. 36:1), were twin brothers – Genesis 23:25.
Jacob was commanded to not hate Edom.
Jacob married in the family line. Esau took his wives and concubines from the Canaanite tribes. The enmity over a squandered birthright has been carried on by Esau’s descendants for almost 4000 years.
The bitterness so old that most of the world has forgotten what causes it to continue.
There were three verses that inspired me to write Antichrist: The Search For Amalek, Malachi 1:1-3. I couldn’t understand why God would point out one person in 66 books in such a way.
I asked rabbis and pastors, but never got an answer that satisfied my curiosity. Then, early in my research I came across Exodus 17:16 “Because the Lord has sworn: the Lord will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.”
After finding out that Amalek was Esau’s grandson and running around the house trying to find Editor to tell her what I had found, I realized that Esau just might be the blood that will produce the final Antichrist.
It would take three more years to find the smoking gun. I attended a prophecy study and lecture with Jimmy DeYoung, who quoted Isaiah 63:1-3. Those two verses prove that Edom will be the final enemy and it was God’s battle all along.
Jacob was to remain quiet.
