Algemeiner: Yahya Sinwar will use Lebanese terror group Hezbollah “as his model” and “allocate considerable funds” for his foreign affairs and security policies “at the expense of civil and welfare activities,” the official told Israel Hayom.

On Sinwar’s agenda are plans to turn Hamas’s “military wing into the strongest body in the Gaza Strip,” and to act on “relations with Egypt and the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah, the conflict with Israel and dealing with [Gaza’s] civilian population. more

Opinion: Ismail Haniyeh retired from Hamas leadership with approx. $2 billion to keep him comfortable. A good gig for the leader of a city were over 20% of its citizens live in extreme poverty, don’t ya think?

Translation: PA and Hamas’ leaders live like kings – their people live in squalor.

While Hamas operatives are notoriously brutal, Sinwar may be one of the most ruthless to ever rule Gaza. He is the first Hamas leader to be selected for this post from the military wing.

Sinwar, 55, was released from Israeli prison six years ago as part of the Shalit prisoner-exchange deal, after having spent 22 years behind bars for murder. It was in prison where Sinwar managed to accumulate a great deal of political power. Since his release, he is widely considered the strongest man in Gaza.

It is important to remember how Hamas and its patron the Muslim Brotherhood have grown and become so powerful in recent years.

Excerpt, Blood Feud Chapter 8:

Hamas was founded in 1987, soon after the First Intifada broke out, as an offshoot of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood.

Hamas is considered the military/terror arm of the Muslim Brotherhood – the name comes from the Hebrew word ‘chamas’ pronounced with an ‘h’ and means violence.

President Obama gave the Muslim Brotherhood legitimacy by inviting them to his 2009 Cairo speech. The Brotherhood, which sponsors the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), had a seat at the table in the Obama administration from 2009.

The only reason for the group’s existence is the destruction of every man, woman, and child in Israel as stated in its charter.

Hamas Charter Article 6

Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it.
