Establishment Rising: Noonan Says Efforts to ‘Take Out’ Bannon ‘Low, Unseemly, Ugly’

Breitbart: But there’s something low, unseemly and ugly in the efforts to take [Bannon] out so publicly and humiliatingly, to turn him into a human oil spot on the tarmac—this not only from his putative colleagues but now even the president. “I like Steve, but you have to remember he was not involved in my campaign until very late,” Mr. Trump purred to the New York Post’s Michael Goodwin.

What will take its place if [Bannon] leaves the White House or recedes as a figure? What worldview will prevail, to the extent Mr. Trump does worldviews? Policy changes accompanying Mr. Bannon’s diminishment this week included the president’s speaking approvingly of the Export-Import Bank and NATO, declaring that China isn’t a currency manipulator after all, suggesting the dollar may be too strong, and hitting Syria and Afghanistan.

None of that sounds like Candidate Trump. more …

Opinion: You have to hand one thing to the Democrats and Barack Obama. He said 5 days before becoming president ‘We are five days away from totally transforming the United States of America’. He never wavered, the Democrat majority in the House and Senate and the mainstream press overwhelming supported every destructive move.

So now we have an evolving president who is changing his advisers faster than the White House staff is changing the sheets.

Breitbart reported this morning (here) a new adviser has the presidents ear: “In a White House marked by infighting, top economic aide Gary Cohn, a Democrat and former Goldman Sachs banker, is muscling aside some of President Donald Trump’s hard-right advisers to push more moderate, business-friendly economic policies.”

We said over and over that the 2016 election was about nationalism vs. globalism. Donald Trump was going to be a center right candidate who would become known as the “jobs” president. His focus was on avoiding overseas nation building, moving the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem to correct the terrible treatment that Israel received from his predecessor, and make America safe and prosperous again.

If Donald Trump moves the embassy, he will bring blessing on our nation (Genesis 12:3) that could override many poor decisions. If not …

  1. Ha! Funny, but sad. I don’t know – was it good to look at Trump as the hero for awhile there? I tell myself it wasn’t altogether bad, but like Oz Chambers says, don’t choose better over best. I never really thought it was going to last. It just didn’t fit in with the script. Although, I do believe it is the cause of events excellerating. Everything is working out precisely the way God intends and I can rest in that. Things aren’t falling apart, they’re falling into place – precisely. Amen and Maranatha!

    • I’m in total agreement with you about it accelerating. If you think it’s moving fast now, wait until Le Pen wins in France. If that happens, hold on to your hat!

  2. Great point, Vason. So much happening so fast!!! I think I’ll leave my hat behind, though. I’ll need a place for my crown until I can lay it at my Savior’s feet. :o)
