North Korea at nuclear threshold. What about Iran?

Debkafile: In a White Paper published last week, the Japanese Defense Ministry concluded that there is evidence that North Korea had achieved miniaturization of nuclear weapons, meaning that it could build a nuclear warhead small enough to fit onto an intercontinental ballistic missile.

“North Korea’s development of ballistic missiles and its nuclear program are becoming increasingly real and presenting imminent problems for the Asia-Pacific region, including Japan, as well as the rest of the world,” said the Japanese report.

The report caused more shock than it should have when it finally reached the world media on Tuesday, Aug. 8, because their US intelligence sources were fully aware of what was going on for some time. They are now reporting that there may be as many as 60 nukes in the North Korean arsenal.

But while all eyes were fixed on the burly dictator in Pyongyang, hardly anyone noticed that North Korea and Iran this week signed a series of new military accords which are no less dangerous to world peace. more …

Opinion: I cannot find any Biblical reference of North Korea in prophecy, except possibly late in the tribulation, Revelation 16:12:

“Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared.”

But an Iran/North Korea partnership is another matter. Iran is part of the Gog Magog alliance, Ezekiel 37-38.

The problem we have dealt with over and over is where is America in prophecy? The only possible reference I can find is in Ezekiel 37:13 and it ain’t good:

“Sheba, Dedan, the merchants of Tarshish, and all their young lions will say to you, ‘Have you come to take plunder? Have you gathered your army to take booty, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to take great plunder?”

While Sheba and Dedan are ancient cities in Saudi Arabia, the lion is the symbol for Britain, so its the young lions that could be America and colonies. All three nations appear to be powerless for reasons still unknown.
