WND: A rabbinic court, or Sanhedrin, has ruled that a Jew who believes in Jesus as the Jewish Messiah is no longer considered a Jew for purposes of marriage in Israel. This makes it impossible for two Messianic Jews to get married inside the country.
It was the first time a rabbinical court has ruled on the issue of the status of Jews who believe in Jesus as Son of God, after a Messianic couple requested they be married in Israel according to Jewish law or “halacha.”
The couple was essentially told they would need to deny their faith in Jesus as the Son of God to have a state-recognized Jewish wedding ceremony in Israel. more …
Opinion: On the first point of the ruling, the Sanhedrin is correct, according to 2 Cor. 5:17 and Galatians 3:28.
In Israel, secular Jews make up over 40% of the population: So when will all that change and when will all Jews turn to God?
Ezekiel 39:6-7 “Then they shall know that I am the Lord. So I will make My holy name known in the midst of My people Israel, and I will not let them profane My holy name anymore. Then the nations shall know that I am the Lord, the Holy One in Israel.”
At the end of the war of Gog and Magog, Israel will be victorious after a major surprise attack by at least 7 armies led by a prince of Russia (Ez. 38:1-6). The whole world will be stunned as the invaders turn their weapons on each other in confusion (Ez. 38:21-22).
But Ezekiel does not mention that the Jews will turn to Jesus. That will happen late in the tribulation. Matthew 24:15-16 records that the Jews who survive the tribulation in the mountains, will turn to Him and mourn:
“And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.” Zechariah 12:10.
The Apostle Paul (Romans 11:25-26) gives us God’s final word on the subject:
For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written:
“The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob;
For this is My covenant with them, When I take away their sins.”
