7 Independence Moves That Could Destroy The EU

Zero Hedge: Catalonia continues to press on with its independence movement, much to the dismay of Spain and the European Union. Catalonia is not the only region in the EU demanding more autonomy or independence:

  • 1. Scotland, Britain
  • 2. Flanders, Belgium
  • 3. Basques, Spain
  • 4. New Caledonia, France
  • 5. Corsica, France
  • 6. Faroe Islands, Denmark
  • 7. Lombardy and Veneto, Italy

Opinion: In Daniel 2:31–43, the prophet interpreted King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream and prophesied a statue that represented four kingdoms that would rule over Israel and most of the world with great power.

The first kingdom, represented by the head of gold, was
Babylon ruled by Nebuchadnezzar.

The second kingdom was Medo-Persia, represented by the
silver chest and arms.

The third empire was Greece under Alexander, represented
by the brass belly and thighs.

The fourth empire was Rome and Constantinople, represented
by the two legs of iron.

This fourth empire will be revived in the last days and will be a confederation of ten kingdoms depicted by the ten toes of the statue (Dan. 7:24).

Daniel said the feet and toes were made of iron and clay, meaning that the empire will be partially strong and partially weak, an accurate description of the EU (twenty-eight nations) today.

Daniel continues: “The fourth beast shall be A fourth kingdom on earth, Which shall be different from all other kingdoms. The ten horns are ten kings Who shall arise from this kingdom.
And another shall rise after them. He shall speak pompous words against the Most High,
Shall persecute the saints of the Most High, And shall intend to change times and law. Then the saints shall be given into his hand For a time and times and half a time.” (Dan, 7:23-25)

Daniel is giving us a frightening view of revived Rome, the Beast Empire of Antichrist. His kingdom will last 3.5 years and be so large and powerful that it will be divided into 10 regions with 10 kings (presidents), which portends a future breakup of the current EU into 10 divisions.

The writer of the article only forgot 1 possible succession: California USA or Calexit, although Daniel didn’t mention it either.
