The outbreak is considered a much bigger threat to the region than in previous years because it has taken on its pneumonic form – meaning it is airborne and spread by sneezing and coughing.
And experts say the epidemic could still worsen as the death tolls hits 124 and more than 1,300 left infected. The Medieval disease famously wiped out ONE THIRD of Europe’s population in the 13th and 14th centuries in one of the most devastating pandemics in human history known as the Black Death.

Opinion: In our post yesterday on the Trump tax cuts and potential financial meltdown due to out of control government spending, our reader Centurion said this:
“In this financial “House of Cards” only the Almighty knows which card will be pulled to collapse the entire world financial system. I believe it has to do with the rapture of the church and the cataclysmic happenstances that will follow – Revelation 13!!”
In the same way after the church is take up (1 Thess. 4:16-18), death from famine and disease begins in Revelation 6:7-8 following the arrival of the false christ (Rev. 6:1-2) war (Rev. 6:3-4) and financial collapse (Rev. 6:5-6).
“When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come and see.” So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth.”
These first 7 Seal judgments are the beginning of the sorrows followed by 7 cataclysmic Trumpet Judgments and 7 Bowl Judgments of the great tribulation spoken of by Jesus in Matthew 24:21.
The conclusion of this 3.5 year period takes place in Edom. Isaiah 63:1-3 encounters a man with His robe stained:
“Who is this who comes from Edom, With dyed garments from Bozrah (capital of Edom)?” The voice answers ““I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.”
There is only one man who is righteous and mighty to save. He is the Kinsman Redeemer who is near kin, willing and able. Only Jesus fills that role and His robe is stained with the blood of Antichrist who went to Edom, the ancient home of Esau, to slay the Jews who will be hiding there during these last 42 months of tribulation as told in Matthew 24:15-16.
Antichrist, like Esau, will fail to kill (Genesis 27:41) Jacob … again.
