Opinion: The headline should read: The Road To Gog and Magog.

At the appointed time, Russia and Iran will bring Turkey and attack Israel from the north. Turkey’s long standing relationships with the Islamic North African nations of Ethiopia, Sudan, Somalia and Libya will bring troops from the south to attack Israel in a war to take massive wealth.

Ezekiel’s war of Gog and Magog (Ezekiel 38-39) will be so massive and over so quickly (Ez. 38:18-23) that the nations of the world will be astonished. But none will be more so than Israel. Because it is this war that will bring the true sons of Jacob (Israel), back to a covenant relationship with God.

So the house of Israel shall know that I am the Lord their God from that day and forward.” Ezekiel 39:22.

When that happens a temple will be necessary, and a rising world leader will provide one, Daniel 9:27.

What impeccable timing. Israel and a Christ-rejecting world are about to be put through the worst 7 years that mankind will ever experience (Matthew 24:21).

But Israel will be saved (Romans 10:26).

Matthew 24:15-16 provides a clue:

“Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.”

Only the true sons of Jacob, the house of Israel, will heed Jesus’ instructions and turn to Him (Zechariah 12:10).

“And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.”
