Opinion: Its name means violence in Hebrew. Its goal is to take every inch of land from Jews. Its method includes terror tunnels and rocket fire to kill as many Jewish citizens as possible. Its primary patron is Iran but global governments including the US, EU and even Israel, along with do-gooder so-called Christian organizations (like World Vision) are at the forefront of tons of cash that Hamas turns into weapons and terror tunnels.

Gazans for the most part live in crushing poverty while their leaders grow wealthy.

What is completely forgotten in all the two-state solution talk is that Gaza was handed to Palestinians in 2005 in exchange for peace. The Gaza Disengagement Plan was dreamed up by then Israeli PM Ariel Sharon and George W. Bush.

Israeli citizens who refused to accept government compensation packages and voluntarily vacate their homes prior to the August 15, 2005 deadline, were forcefully evicted by Israeli security forces over a period of several days.

The eviction of all residents, demolition of the residential buildings and evacuation of associated security personnel from the Gaza Strip was completed by September 12, 2005. A total of 8,000 Jewish settlers from all 21 settlements in the Gaza Strip were forcibly relocated. The average settler received compensation of over U.S $200,000.

Both Sharon and Bush paid dearly under the Abrahamic Covenant (Genesis 12:3) as Sharon fell into a diabetic coma one year later and George Bush was severely criticized for his handling of Hurricane Katrina, the deadliest hurricane in US history which hit the US Gulf Coast on August 27, 2005, and thereafter he lost control of Congress in 2006.

Palestinian writer Fawaz Turki described Hamas as “the dissolution of civilized society, of all civil norms and all hope.”
