The successful cyber campaign, waged against Iran by certain Western and Arab intelligence agencies led by the US, during the week-long protest rallies across Iran, is gradually breaking surface. Two new comments shed light on this contest and the future direction of Iran’s protest movement after it petered out last Thursday.
Central Intelligence Agency Director Mike Pompeo corrected Fox Sunday interviewer Chris Wallace on Jan. 7, who noted that the wave of demonstrations was over. Pompeo put in firmly: “They are not behind us” – meaning that, according to his information, more are on the way. more …
Opinion: Most western news sites are downplaying the Iranian protests but CIA Director Mike Pompeo has another opinion; more are on the way.
While the CIA is no doubt still loaded with Obama appointees, Mike Pompeo is no John Brennan:
And since Donald Trump is no Barack Obama, it is highly likely that the CIA along with Israel’s Mossad, and Shin Bet spy agencies are more than a little involved.
In a speech to Parliament on December 10, 2017, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani attacked “fraudulent institutions” controlled by hard-line clerics. A backlash against him rose up by both conservative political opponents and street protesters fed up with the poor state of governance and the economy.
Protesters are well aware that the Obamacash windfall from the nuclear deal has not reached the average Iranian. Unemployment remains high and official inflation has crept up to 10 percent again including an increase in egg and poultry prices by as much as 40 percent.
A sign of the times: Iran’s protests are fueled by social media and shutting them down may cause even more backlash.
Working backwards from what we know will happen, if Iran’s current government structure were overthrown, an even worse one will necessarily have to emerge to engage with Russia, Turkey and North African allies to fulfill Ezekiel 38:1-6.
Only then will the stage be set for the 7 year tribulation.
