Ferghana News reported that China will build a military base in the northern province of Afghanistan, and, according to the news agency, the Ministry of Defense of Afghanistan is already expecting a Chinese expert delegation to discuss the location and further technicalities for the base.
If these reports are true, China will fully fund the new military base in Badakhshan, covering all material and technical expenses, including both lethal and nonlethal weaponry and equipment. more …
Opinion: Could it be that China is unknowingly preparing for the final battle of Armageddon?
“Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared.” Revelation 16:12
When discussing north, south, east and west in prophecy keep in mind that it is in relation to Israel, which God set at the center of the nations (Ezekiel 5:5).
There are vast numbers of people in the nations east of the great river Euphrates. Those armies will cross a dried-up river (reminiscent of the Red Sea crossing) to join Antichrist in the Battle of Armageddon to fight against the return of Jesus Christ.
The scene is very near the end of the tribulation period and just before the return of Christ. Five of the final set of the judgments, called the Bowl Judgments, have already taken place:
- First Bowl: Loathsome Sores
- Second Bowl: The Sea Turns to Blood
- Third Bowl: The Waters Turn to Blood
- Fourth Bowl: Men Are Scorched
- Fifth Bowl: Darkness and Pain
In the 6th Bowl Judgment, the Euphrates River dries up. While National Geographic has run articles for 20 years of poor water management and drought conditions that has caused havoc on countries downstream of the Euphrates, Revelation 9:13-14 records that angles will be assigned to the area:
“Then the sixth angel sounded: And I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.”
When the Lord returns at the end of the battle, He destroys the armies of all four kings (Rev. 19:19-21)
