The New American: Jessica Vaughan, the director of policy studies at CIS, noted that the Trump administration has declared war on MS-13, reprising a similar initiative launched by the Bush administration in 2005 that stifled the gang’s activity after several years. However, noted the report, the gang has been able to rebuild itself since 2012, which was the year that Barack Obama was re-elected to the presidency.

The report said that the growing number of so-called sanctuary cities has hampered efforts to apprehend MS-13 members, stating, “The proliferation of sanctuary policies that interfere with cooperation between state and local law enforcement agencies threatens to hamper efforts to stifle MS-13 activity. more …

Opinion: Barack Barack Barack. I don’t remember anyone saying it, but the former president’s outright hatred for the US and Israel was evident.

Whenever he could, Obama stirred up racial strife (Professor Louis Gates, Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown) by disparaging police. Whenever he could, Obama stirred anti-Israel sentiment by outright meddling in Israel’s elections and promoting the return to the 1967 borders and the division of Jerusalem. And whenever he could, he flouted US immigration law with policies like catch and release.

In 2013, ICE agents released 68,000 aliens with criminal convictions, or 35 percent of all criminal aliens they reported encountering.

From the article:

The report noted that 207 murders have been tied to MS-13 since 2012, and there are over 500 cases nationwide of MS-13 members being charged in major crimes. The states with the greatest number of such cases were California, with 92; Maryland, with 85; New York, with 80; and Virginia, with 63.

Yesterday at CPAC, President Trump read an excerpt from the snake poem. I cannot  think of a better comparison for allowing MS-13 into America:

When a nation’s leader promotes breaking the law, the whole nation rots from the inside out. Obama is gone, but the damage done may never be completely undone.
