The Times of Israel: The attendance of the Iraqi movement’s secretary-general, Akram al-Kaabi’s, at the event commemorating a terrorist thought to be responsible for many bombings, kidnappings and assassinations sends a clear message to Israel:
Hezbollah is not alone.
The message being sent was that many regional militias, including al-Nujaba, will join with Hezbollah in its next war against Israel — a war that has already been threatened by the organization’s head, Hassan Nasrallah.
Opinion: Sometimes a headline just jumps off the page as if it was taken from an ancient prophecy:
“For behold, Your enemies make a tumult;
And those who hate You have lifted up their head.
3 They have taken crafty counsel against Your people,
And consulted together against Your sheltered ones.
4 They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation,
That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.” Psalm 83:2-4
Imagine a hatred so intense that an entire people group is being threatened. The hatred of Edom is not content with just killing and taking land, it actually believes that once the land Esau forfeited (Genesis 25:29-34) is returned, the world will in time forget that there ever was a Jew.
From the article:
Iran has spent the past few months working to unite the Syrian and Lebanese fronts in preparation for war with Israel. It has sent more and more Shiite troops to Syria, set up military bases for its troops, and also sent drones into Israeli territory.
“For they have consulted together with one consent;
They form a confederacy against You:
6 The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites;
Moab and the Hagrites;
7 Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek;
Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;
8 Assyria also has joined with them;
They have helped the children of Lot.” Psalm 83:5-8
The Psalm 83 Alliance Today – Israel’s enemies have not changed:
The tents of Edom – (Edom is Esau Gen 36:1) originally Mt. Seir (southern Jordan) until the 6th century BC when Esau’s descendants were forced to change locations by a Nabatean tribe. Edom today is represented by the Palestinians of the West Bank and Gaza.
Moab and Ammon – Palestinians of central and northern Jordan also called the children of Lot (Gen. 19:30-38)
The Ishmaelites – Ishmael settled in the Arabian Peninsula or modern-day Saudi Arabia
The Hagrites – Hagar, mother of Ishmael, was from Egypt
Amalek – Eternal enemy of the Israelites (Ex. 17:16) Arabs of the Sinai (ISIS)
Gebal – Northern Lebanon
Philistia – Palestinians of Gaza (Hamas)
The inhabitants of Tyre – Southern Lebanon (Hezbollah)
Assyria – Syria and northern Iraq
Notice that Iran is not mentioned in the Psalm 83 lineup, but each one of her terror proxies is. Iran will join Russia, Turkey and North African allies in the next war to follow Psalm 83.
