PJ Media: Defense Secretary James Mattis said Israel exercised its “absolute right to defend itself” in shooting down an Iranian drone that entered the Jewish State’s airspace from Syria.

“It is interesting that everywhere we find trouble in the Middle East, you find the same thing behind it. Whether it be in Yemen or Beirut, or in Syria, in Iraq, you always find Iran engaged,” he added.

“Now in two places, I can say, well, it just happened to fall out that way. In three places, it’s starting to look like there’s something to it. And I think the further you are from there, the easier it is to dismiss this as some sort of, you know, Washington, D.C., chicanery or something. If you live in the region, there’s no doubt what Iran is doing.” more …

Opinion: “ … And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.” Luke 21:24

The Guardian, Sep 25, 2008 – “Israel gave serious thought this spring to launching a military strike on Iran’s nuclear sites but was told by President George W Bush that he would not support it and did not expect to revise that view for the rest of his presidency.”

Arutz Sheva Jan 3, 2015 – “The Bethlehem-based news agency Ma’an has cited a Kuwaiti newspaper report Saturday, that US President Barack Obama thwarted an Israeli military attack against Iran’s nuclear facilities in 2014 by threatening to shoot down Israeli jets before they could reach their targets in Iran.”

There is no other sovereign nation that has to ask US permission to defend itself, but Israel. But that’s coming to an end, not because of President Trump, but because the times of the Gentiles (church age) are coming to an end:

Rapture: Also called the Day of Christ. Harpazo is a Greek word meaning snatched up or caught up; the Latin is rapturo. It is the catching up of the true believers of Jesus Christ. The Rapture is the literal, visible and bodily return of Jesus Christ in the heavenlies (1 Thess. 4:13-185:9).

After the church is gone, Israel will be in God’s hands.

Ezekiel 39:28: “then they shall know that I am the Lord their God, who sent them into captivity among the nations, but also brought them back to their land, and left none of them captive any longer.”
