Opponents of Mr Orban flooded the capital on Saturday to protest at what they say is an unfair electoral system.
A similar number of people attended a pro-Orban demonstration last month.
The protests come just six days after the governing Fidesz party won two-thirds of the parliamentary seats with half of the national vote.
Mr Orban is a strong Eurosceptic who campaigned on an anti-immigration platform. more …
Opinion: Despite protests earlier this week, the reelection of Victor Orban on April 8 represents a victory for all populists in Europe. It’s a sign of soon-coming radical European leadership.
“And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.” Daniel 7:24
Strongmen are rising in Eastern Europe that are challenging Brussels and Germany with anti-migrant nationalist beliefs:
- Victor Orban in Hungary
- Sebastian Kurz in Austria
- Andrej Babiš in the Czech Republic
If we are as close to the rapture of the church as I think we are, all three could be candidates to rise as kings when the current structure of the EU collapses.
In Revelation 17:12-13, John also identifies 10 kings:
“The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast.”
The 10 kings of Daniel rise out of revived Rome followed by the 11th king (Antichrist). The 10 kings of Revelation 17 have not yet received a kingdom, therefore, their reign as kings with authority to rule will coincide with the anti-Christ’s rise to power, to whom they will yield.
Out of the migration chaos that began in Germany we will watch each election carefully for clues as to the identity of 10 kings.
