Zero Hedge: Should a deadly pandemic comparable to the 1918 influenza outbreak reach the US in the relatively near future, the US government would be powerless to stop it. And in all likelihood, hundreds of thousands – if not, millions – of Americans will die. That’s the message from a Washington Post interview with Microsoft founder Bill Gates, which touched on many of the same subjects from a talk he gave Friday before the Massachusetts Medical Society.
Bill Gates says the U.S. government is falling short in preparing the nation and the world for the “significant probability of a large and lethal modern-day pandemic occurring in our lifetimes.”
Gates discussed his efforts to convince the Trump administration to set aside more funding for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and to prioritize the creation of a national response plan that would govern how resources are deployed during a pandemic or biological weapons attack. more …
Opinion: Bill gates is correct, but I am pretty sure he is not interested in Bible prophecy.
When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come and see.” So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth. Revelation 6:7-8
Probably the least discussed horseman. Death is ugly because it was Satan who caused it. The fourth rider on a Pale Horse follows the revelation of Antichrist (White Horse, Rev. 1-2), war (Red horse, Rev. 6:3-4), and financial collapse (Black Horse, Rev. 6:5-6).
The progression fits.
It will be a time of judgment for all who are left behind after Jesus returns for His church (1 Thess. 4:16-18).
Since Jesus Himself tells us His church will be kept from (Greek ek ‘out of’) the time of wrath (Revelation 3:10) every person who finds themselves there is by their own choosing. No one who has ever looked for Jesus has not found Him (Matthew 7:8).
