The Times of Israel: Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas said Sunday that he will continue paying stipends to Palestinian attackers and their families despite the Israeli parliament’s decision last week to withhold hundreds of millions in funds from taxes collected on the Palestinian Authority’s behalf.
Abbas defiantly told a meeting of Fatah party leaders that the Palestinian government would pay “our martyrs and prisoners and wounded people” as it had since 1965.
“We will not allow anyone to interfere with the money that Israel is against us paying to the families of martyrs and prisoners,” he said, according to an official transcript released by state-run news agency Wafa.
Opinion: “… And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.” Luke 21:24
The world, minus the US (since March 24, 2018), is funding the Palestinian Authority and Hamas, and the Gentile world is just fine with it.
(The Taylor Force Act, legislation that cuts American funding for the Palestinian Authority over its payments to convicted terrorists and their families, officially became a law after President Donald Trump signed a large budget bill of which the act was a part).
To grasp the terror that has been inflicted on Jewish civilians for the past 70 years there are three incidents of the thousands that I can’t unknow:
April 22, 1979: Lebanese terrorist Sami Kuntar and his team broke into an apartment building and kidnapped a father, 31-year-old Danny Haran, and his 4-year-old daughter, Einat, taking them to a nearby beach. According to eyewitnesses and forensic reports, Kuntar shot Danny to death at close range, and then killed the girl Einat by smashing her skull against the rocks with the butt of his rifle. During the attack, Smadar Haran accidentally suffocated her two-year-old daughter Yael to death while attempting to quiet her whimpering, which would have revealed their hiding place. Newsweek states that the details of Kuntar’s attack are “so sickening they give pause even to some of Israel’s enemies.
March 11, 2011, The Itamar massacre, Five members of the Fogel family were murdered in their beds. The victims were the father Ehud Fogel, the mother Ruth, and three of their six children — Yoav, 11, Elad, 4, and Hadas, the youngest, a three-month-old infant. The infant was decapitated.
Amjad Awad and Hakim Awad, two young Palestinian cousins from the village of Awarta, were arrested for the murders. On June 5, 2011 the two men were indicted on five counts of murder, stealing weapons, breaking and entering, and conspiracy to commit a crime. Both were later convicted. They initially denied any involvement in the attack but later proudly confessed to the murders, expressing no remorse and reenacting the attack before security officials.
June 19, 2016, during the stabbing intifada, 16-year-old Morad Bader Abdullah Adais stabbed mother of six, Dafna Meir, as she came out of her home.
“I plunged the knife into her so deeply that most of it was inside her body,” he recalled.
“She started screaming, the children saw me and also started screaming, then I stabbed her in her upper body another three or four times. She tried to fight me and tried to take the knife from me. The two children who were there were still screaming, but she continued to resist, so I pushed her, and overpowered her.”
Only one man had the courage to end payments that fund terror and he is the same one who declared that Jerusalem is the eternal capital of Israel. His name is Donald Trump.
