Breitbart: Former White House officials who served under Barack Obama are criticizing President Donald Trump’s repeated calls for NATO partner states to contribute more funds — both in absolute terms and as a share of their respective GDPs — to NATO’s operational costs.
Former Secretary of State John Kerry described Trump’s Wednesday comments at a NATO breakfast meeting in Brussels, Belgium, as “counterproductive,” “disgraceful,” and “destructive.” He also said Trump is “[setting] America back” and “destroying [America’s] reputation in the world.”
Former CIA Director John Brennan agreed with Kerry’s criticisms of Trump’s position towards NATO partner states’ funding of NATO. He invited “NATO leaders” to “push back against the reckless behavior of Donald Trump.” more …
Opinion: In case you missed this video under geopolitics yesterday, take a minute to see what the Obama team of John Kerry, Samantha Power, Ben Rhodes and John Brennan are complaining about. This is the same group that continually drew moral equivalence between Hamas’ rocket fire on Israeli citizens and the IDF response to stop it.
Keep in mind as you watch the video that NATO is there to protect the EU from Russia. Further keep in mind that Russia is well known for using its natural gas reserves as a weapon in the winter months.
Then there was Resolution 2334:
The following series of moves by the Obama/Kerry team, in conjunction with the United Nations and the Vatican, led to the carefully orchestrated UN Security Council vote:
December 23, 2016, President Obama instructs Samantha Power to abstain, as 14 members of the UN Security Council passed Resolution 2334:
- That Israel′s settlement activity constitutes a “flagrant violation” of international law and has “no legal validity”
- It further demands that Israel stop such activity and fulfill its obligations as an occupying power under the Fourth Geneva Convention
December 28, 2016, John Kerry makes a 70-minute speech declaring Israeli settlements as the main obstruction to peace, stating that Israel cannot be both a “Democratic state and a Jewish state.”
