JPost: The founding director of the European Coalition for Israel in Brussels, Tomas Sandell, announced in a shocking video message on Thursday that German Chancellor Angela Merkel waged a campaign to prevent central and eastern European countries from moving their capitals to Jerusalem to preserve the Iran nuclear deal.

Sandell said in a Jerusalem Post exclusive report in November that Merkel called Romanian president, Klaus Iohannis,  to convince him to not relocate his country’s embassy to Jerusalem. The move prompted him to go public. more …

Opinion: Can a nation’s leader bless or curse (Genesis 12:3) their nation?

The mighty Babylonian Empire under Belshazzar crumbled when the king held a drunken orgy and ordered his servants to bring him the gold and silver temple implements with which to drink his wine, when the fingers of a human hand appeared and wrote on the plaster of the wall that spelled the end of his empire that same night:

“And this is the inscription that was written”

MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.

This is the interpretation of each word. MENE: God has numbered your kingdom, and finished it; TEKEL: You have been weighed in the balances, and found wanting; PERES: Your kingdom has been divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.” Daniel 5:25-28

Alexander the Great became one of the greatest military generals of all time after blessing Israel as Greece ruled the known world:

First century historian Josephus:

“. . . he [Alexander the Great] gave his hand to the high priest and, with the Jews running beside him, entered the city. Then he went up to the temple, where he sacrificed to God under the direction of the high priest, and showed due honour to the priests and to the high priest himself. And, when the book of Daniel was shown to him, in which he had declared that one of the Greeks would destroy the empire of the Persians, he believed himself to be the one indicated; and in his joy he dismissed the multitude for the time being, but on the following day he summoned them again and told them to ask for any gifts which they might desire. . .”

Because of Britain’s treatment of Israel after World War I the ‘sun began to set’ on the British Empire:

  • In 1922 the League of Nations awarded Britain the entire land of Palestine to Israel with
    no territorial restrictions.
  • Israel was granted both sides of the Jordan River, totaling
43,075 square miles. A few months later, Britain, under pressure,
altered the Balfour Declaration and took back 32,460
square miles, or 78 percent of the original land grant.
  • That land was then given to establish Jordan for the Arab peoples, leaving approximately
    9,500 square miles for Israel.
  • The UN proposed a further reduction of land for Israel to
5,560 square miles, or 13 percent of the original land grant.
Seventy-five percent of Israel’s allotted land was desert.
  • Israel was pushed to land on the West Bank of the Jordan
    River.
  • Israel’s land mass became 5,560 square miles; Arab land
    mass equaled 6,700,000 square miles

Strap yourself in Chancellor Merkel, things are about to change in Germany.
