China unveils peace plan based on 1967 lines

The Times of Israel: “PA President Mahmoud Abbas was welcomed by his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping in Beijing on Monday, as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu began a visit to the eastern financial hub of Shanghai. Netanyahu is due in Beijing on Wednesday following Abbas’s departure a day earlier.

During his meeting with Abbas, Xi introduced a 4-point peace proposal. The plan calls for an independent Palestinian state alongside Israel, based on the 1967 lines, with East Jerusalem as its capital. The proposal also states Israel’s right to exist in security and asserts that negotiations are the key to lasting peace between the two peoples.”

Opinion: That Xi Jinping would meet with the illegitimate president of an imaginary people tells you how ridiculous this is. Mahmoud Abbas has held no elections in the West Bank (Judea and Samaria) since 2009 when his presidency expired.

Xi Jinping regurgitated President Obama’s May 19, 2011 speech calling for the 1967 lines, magnanimously adding Israel’s right to exist. In his proposal, East Jerusalem which is home to the Temple Mount, would be in Muslim hands. Preposterous but likely since virtually every nation on earth agrees with the two seemingly god-less leaders.

Both President Obama and Prime Minister Netanyahu have drawn red lines recently. But Israel’s most basic red-line position since 1967 has been no negotiation over either Jerusalem or the Temple Mount. According to Bible prophecy, that is not accurate.

“The prophet Zechariah predicted that Jerusalem would be divided one last time (Zechariah 14: 1-2) on the Day of the Lord. So, here is the chronology remaining for the human race: the current Dispensation [the Church Age] comes to an end at the Rapture as part of the Day of Christ.

The Raptured Church (Pre-Tribulation) attends the Bema Seat Judgment (2nd Corinthians 3:11-15), the marriage supper of the Lamb (Revelation 19:9) and accompanies Him to the earth at His triumphant Second Coming (Jude 1:14-15).

The “Day of the Lord” takes place at the end of the Great Tribulation and refers to judgment for sin; judgment against the Gentile nations; judgment against unbelieving Israel and the final judgment at the Great White Throne.”
