Hard-line speech from Abbas marks turn from position in talks

F140111IR04-635x357The Times Of Israel: “In a significant break from the stated Palestinian negotiating position on the right of return, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas said that he could not negotiate away the absolute right of Palestinian refugees and their descendents to return to sovereign Israel.

The traditional Palestinian position on the “right of return” follows the language of the 2002 Arab Peace Initiative, which stipulates a “just and agreed upon solution based on UN resolution 194.” This formula was used by Abbas in his speech at the UN last September, as well as at his speech at the World Economic Forum in Jordan last June.”

Opinion: There are 13-14 million of them. That would be like America taking in 600,000,000 of Mexico’s citizens. Ridiculous. The Arab side of these phony peace talks has offered nothing and demands the West Bank towns of Judea and Samaria including all of Jerusalem. If that is not enough, they want a corridor connecting Judea to Gaza which would literally split Israel in half making the nation indefensible.

Jimmy DeYoung (Prophecy Today) said this: “The prophet Malachi records that the borders of the people of Amalek, the Palestinian people of today, would be the borders of wickedness. Ezekiel says that the Amalekites will kill the Jews in the last days and try to take their land from them; that’s Ezekiel 35. Jeremiah says that the Amalekites will be destroyed and will be as they have never been; Jeremiah 49:18 … Though the rabbi’s call to annihilate Palestinian murderers is indeed shocking, the prophet Obadiah says that’s exactly what will happen at the coming of the Messiah, Jesus Christ.”
