Washington Free Beacon: “Russia increased its deployed nuclear warheads over the past six months under a strategic arms reduction treaty as U.S. nuclear warhead stocks declined sharply, according to the State Department.

During the same period, the United States cut its deployed nuclear warheads by 114, increasing the disparity between the two nuclear powers.

Russia’s warhead increases since 2011 suggest Moscow does not intend to cut its nuclear forces and will abandon the New START arms accord as part of a major nuclear buildup.”

Opinion: But that’s not all. The Free Beacon also found that nine months ago, a secret agreement between Washington and Iran lifted international sanctions on Iran’s ballistic missile program as a part of the “ransom” package that involved Iran freeing U.S. hostages:

“The administration agreed to immediately lift global restrictions on Iran’s Bank Sepah—a bank the Treasury Department described in 2007 as the “linchpin of Iran’s missile procurement”–eight years before they were to be lifted under last summer’s comprehensive nuclear agreement. U.S. officials initially described the move as a “goodwill gesture” to Iran.

That Russia and Iran are building up arms while America is reducing is alarming but predictable.

When the war of Gog and Magog gets under way and seven armies, led by Russia, Iran and Turkey, launch a surprise attack on Israel, Ezekiel 38:13 mentions three nations that are, for reasons not given, bystanders  during the attack:

“Sheba, Dedan (Saudi Arabia), the merchants of Tarshish (Britain), and all their young lions (America) will say to you, ‘Have you come to take plunder? Have you gathered your army to take booty, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to take great plunder?”
