American Dream: Is it possible that the Yellowstone supervolcano is gearing up for a major eruption? If you follow my work on a regular basis, then you already know that I spend a lot of time documenting how the crust of our planet is becoming increasingly unstable. Most of this shaking is taking place far away from the continental United States, and so most Americans are not too concerned about it.

But we should be concerned about it, because a major seismic event could change all of our lives in a single instant. For instance, a full-blown eruption of the Yellowstone supervolcano would have the potential of being an E.L.E. (extinction level event). That is why it is so alarming that there have been 296 earthquakes in the vicinity of the Yellowstone supervolcano within the last 7 days.

Scientists are trying to convince us that everything is going to be okay, but there are others that are not so sure. more …

Opinion: The swarm began last week, and on June 15 saw a magnitude 4.5 earthquake take place in Yellowstone National Park.

“The epicenter of the shock was located in Yellowstone National Park, eight miles north-northeast of the town of West Yellowstone, Montana,” scientists from the University of Utah, which monitors Yellowstone Volcano, said in a statement.

“The shaking  was felt in the towns of West Yellowstone and Gardiner, Montana, in Yellowstone National Park, and elsewhere in the surrounding region.”

According to a Feb. 2013 published study led by U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) engineering geologist Thomas L. Holzer and coauthor James Savage:

Earthquakes with death tolls of more than 50,000, which they define as catastrophic, and reported global death tolls from roughly 1500 A.D. to the present. Comparing those events to estimates of world population, they found that the number of catastrophic earthquakes has increased as population has grown. After statistically correlating the number of catastrophic earthquakes in each century with world population, they were able to use new (2011) twenty-first-century population projections by the United Nations to project that approximately twenty-one catastrophic earthquakes will occur in the twenty-first century, a tripling of the seven that occurred in the twentieth century.

When Jesus was asked by His disciples what would be the sign of His coming and the end of the age, He said this:

“Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.” Matthew 24:3-16.

It is important to note that Jesus was talking to Jewish disciples (followers) and not the Church. In fact, the Church is absent in both Matthew 24-25, indicating that the rapture will have already occurred.
