The Guardian: One of central Europe’s richest men will begin the tricky task of building a ruling coalition after convincing Czech voters in weekend elections that he can stem immigration, fight corruption and banish the establishment from power.

Andrej Babiš, a tycoon turned populist politician who has been compared to Donald Trump and Silvio Berlusconi, confirmed on Monday that the Czech president would ask him next week to begin forming the next government.

Babiš led his new party ANO – “ano” is Czech for “yes” – to a resounding poll victory, winning almost 30% of the vote. more

Opinion: Babiš, who has an estimated net worth of €3.5 billion (US $4.1 billion), is not only one of the country’s most successful businessmen, but is now the most powerful man in the Czech Republic government.

And he is in agreement with the recently elected 31-year-old Austrian president Sebastian Kurz in seeking radical change to the European Union.

We have written many times on the arrival of a strongman in Europe and now there are two in the eastern leg of Daniel’s statue:

Daniel 2:41-43 prophecies ancient Rome with two legs, Rome and Constantinople, with the feet made of clay and iron. What a perfect description unstable EU of today! Financially strong northern countries and the financially weak southern ones.

Daniel 7:24 prophesied that the revived Roman Empire would be split into 10 regions, each with a king or president. Of these 10 kings three will be weak opening door for an eleventh king, who would subdue 3 kings on his way to becoming a global dictator.

I can’t help but follow each EU election with more than casual interest to try to guess if any of the recent elections may have produced the eleventh king – Little Horn …

From France’s Emmanuel Macron …

“I was considering the horns, and there was another horn, a little one, coming up among them, before whom three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots. And there, in this horn, were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous words. Daniel 7:8

  1. Sebastian Kurz? Never heard of him. I guess AC is supposed to come out of nowhere. And how old is he? He looks like he’s fresh out of college. Oh well, today only youth and appearances matter, right? That old saying, don’t judge a book by its cover? I don’t think anyone remembers it anymore. Nowadays, if it looks good, smells good, tastes good, sounds good, it must be good. Right? Rightttt…..

    • Hi Shelly, Sebastian Kurz is 31 and was elected 4 days ago to be Chancellor of Austria. We had a headline post on his election and what is interesting is almost no one is covering him.

  2. Folks, remember what II Thessalonians 2:7-8 says, “…He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And the lawless one will be revealed.” He who restrains is the Holy Spirit. One of the eight ministries of the HS is to restrain evil on the earth until He is removed – synergisticly – by the rapture. Then the AC will be identifiable. Guessing can be fun but consider this, Scripture only speaks of 5 personalities that possess signs, miracles, and wonders: 1) Moses – Let my people go; 2) Elijah – Shape up or ship out; 3) Jesus – Nothing need be said here; 4) The Apostles – Signs and miracles to get the church started; and 5) The AC – With signs, miracles, and LYING wonders! Number 5 is the reason why preterism is so foolish. Nobody in the past or now (yet) fits the definition. The time of the rapture is a secret. Secret in part so that Satan himself will not know who to groom until the appropriate time. That being said, any one of your possibilities could be right. Remember when many thought obama was the one? He still could be!!

  3. Reports of Kurz’s “energy and charisma” along with his right-of-center party, are in countless articles. His next step is to choose a coalition partner, and he’s looking at the far-right neo-Nazi Freedom Party. Kurz has said he will not tolerate anti-Semitism in a coalition partner… And, yet, didn’t Hitler come out of Austria, also, rising openly through the ranks, and then ruling so powerfully and with great evil?
