Breitbart: In his address at a conference Monday, the founding member of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s conservative Fidesz party stated that “the new technique and ideology of government is aimed at creating (societies) without an identity”.
Referring to proponents of global governance as “potential colonists”, Mr. Kövér said: “They want to strip people of their religious, national, family, and even sexual identities so that they are no longer able to recognise, express or enforce their own interests.”
Hungary has been at the forefront of the battle against the erosion of the nation-state and conservative values with Prime Minister Orbán, vowing last month to put “Hungary first” and fight those within the European Union who “want to change the Christian identity of Hungary and Europe”.
The country’s rejection of “anti-Christian internationalist powers” is informed by decades of oppression under Communist rule.
Opinion: On March 21, we posted the headline “Turkish leader Claims Muslim Victory over Europe”.
A member of the Turkish Parliament, Alparslan Kavaklıoğlu of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), and head of the parliament’s Security and Intelligence Commission said this:
“The fortune and wealth of the world is moving from the West to the East,” Kavaklıoğlu said. “Europe is going through a time that is out of the ordinary. Its population is declining and aging. It has a very old population. So, people coming from outside get the jobs there. But Europe has this problem. All of the newcomers are Muslim. From Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Iran, Syria, and Turkey. Those who come from these places are Muslim.”
Kavaklıoğlu contended that Europe’s fate will inevitably be sealed within 20 years.
Secular progressive liberalism has so infected the continent of Europe that they not only don’t see the danger of open immigration but are actually encouraging it, as depicted by an this award winning painting:
Brussels has made no secret of its quest to find ‘one captain to steer the ship’ leading the continent in search of a strong man to bring peace and prosperity to the continent.
“The fourth beast shall be
A fourth kingdom on earth,
Which shall be different from all other kingdoms” Daniel 7:23.
Viktor Orbán sees it coming. National identity, religion, family and even sexual identities are giving way to the nation state. The Prime Minister has ramped up his populist nationalist rhetoric ahead of April elections to claim that “dark clouds are gathering” and that his country is a last bastion in the fight against the “Islamisation” of Europe:
“We sent the muzzle back to Brussels and the leash back to the IMF,” he said early in his address, praising the strength of the country’s economy.”
Orban, who considers himself a faithful Protestant, said “Christianity is Europe’s last hope. Our worst nightmares can come true. The West falls as it fails to see Europe being overrun.”
Daniel 7:23-24 records the outcome:
“The ten horns are ten kings
Who shall arise from this kingdom.
And another shall rise after them;
He shall be different from the first ones,
And shall subdue three kings.”
The eleventh king is Antichrist.
