Neon Nettle: One of the Catholic Church’s high-ranking clerics has spoken out about the problems facing Catholicism today, and in particular, the epidemic of pedophilia, claiming that women are the root cause.
According to Pope Francis’s former competitor for the role of the Vatican’s leader, Cardinal Raymond Burke, the rampant crisis of pedophile priests was brought on by women who “feminized” the church and discouraged “manly” men from participating in clerical life.
Serving mass is a “manly” job argues the Irish American Cardinal, as he claims that the participation of women and girls into the daily life of the church has a chilling effect on priests, causing them to turn to “immoral and unpriestly vocations” such as “abusing minors”.
“The activities in the parish and even the liturgy have been influenced by women and have become so feminine in many places that men do not want to get involved.” more …
Opinion: Cardinal Burke is known as a conservative and was/is a highly favored candidate for pope. Burke is seen as the ringleader of a faction of the Catholic church opposed to Francis. He is one of four to sign an openly critical letter to Francis last year questioning guidance that allows priests to determine whether remarried Catholics could receive communion.
He has praised Donald Trump and adopted a far more critical stance on migrants than Francis. Imagine that?
If Burke follows Francis, like Trump followed Obama, Newton’s third law of motion would be repeated once again:
“For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.”
So Burke’s solution to rampant pedophilia lies in blaming women, claiming they have ‘confused’ priests, causing them to abuse minors.
“He shall regard neither the God of his fathers nor the desire of women, nor regard any god; for he shall exalt himself above them all”. Daniel 11:27
I have always found that verse fascinating, what kind of man would would fit that role?
Cardinal Burke is a man to watch.
