UK Express: European Union Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker delivered his fourth speech in Strasbourg this morning where his motto was “A Europe that protects” – a phrase coined by French President Emmanuel Macron and the same as the Austrian presidency of the Council.
As Mr Juncker outlined his future plans for the continent, he focused on migration and called for more legal routes for “qualified migrants”.
It comes as the bloc is engulfed by rising populism and nationalism, which threatens the upcoming EU elections in May. more …
Opinion: In an attempt to rectify the out of control crime that open migration from terror nations has brought, Jean Claude Junker announced an additional 10,000 border guards would be employed by 2020. Too little too late?
“A study conducted by the Zurich University of Applied Sciences and paid for by Germany’s Ministry of Family Affairs, police witnessed an increase of 10.4 percent in reported violent crimes in 2015 and 2016. More than 90 percent of the increase (not of total violent crimes) was said to be attributable to migrants.
The study said the 14 to 30 age bracket formed the largest of its kind for migrants in Lower Saxony, suggesting that in turn contributed to the link between the rising rate of violent crime and the increase in migrant arrivals in the state.” (source)
Prophecy watch: Some confluence of events will cause the EU to break up:
Daniel 7:24 “The ten horns are ten kings
Who shall arise from this kingdom”
Daniel prophesies that the final kingdom, revived Rome, will at first be ruled by 10 presidents but that structure will be short lived:
“And another shall rise after them;
He shall be different from the first ones,
And shall subdue three kings”
Here Daniel sees an eleventh king, Antichrist, who will overthrow three kings on his way to global dominance with a demonic anti-Semitic agenda:
“He shall speak pompous words against the Most High,
Shall persecute the saints of the Most High,
And shall intend to change times and law.
Then the saints shall be given into his hand
For a time and times and half a time”
This ruler will at first appear to be Israel’s friend but will become its persecutor. He will occupy Jerusalem for 3.5 years (time and times and half a time) beginning the great tribulation described by Jesus (Matthew 24:21).
