Daily Wire: In a strange and almost tone-deaf homily delivered Tuesday morning, Pope Francis implored the hierarchy of the Catholic Church to pray and resist the “Great Accuser,” Satan, who seeks to expose sin in order to divide the faithful.
“In these times, it seems like the ‘Great Accuser’ has been unchained and is attacking bishops. True, we are all sinners, we bishops. He tries to uncover the sins, so they are visible in order to scandalize the people.
The ‘Great Accuser,’ as he himself says to God in the first chapter of the Book of Job, ‘roams the earth looking for someone to accuse,” Pope Francis said, according to an official report in Vatican news. more …
Opinion: Evidently, Pope Francis is real annoyed that the sins of the bishops were exposed. While Francis is correct that Satan is the accuser (Revelation 12:10), it is God who exposes sin:
“And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light” Ephesians 5:11-14.
“ For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known.” Luke 12:2
