US Resolution To Condemn Hamas Voted Down In UN General Assembly

Jewish Press: For the first time in the history of the United Nations, a record number of countries supported a General Assembly resolution condemning Hamas — but the world body still failed to pass the resolution.

At the center of the American proposal, formulated together with Israel, was the condemnation of Hamas rocket fire and its use of civilian infrastructure for military purposes against Israel. Among the countries that supported the proposal were all the member states of the European Union, countries in Africa and Asia, and many others.

In the end, 87 countries voted in favor, but was not enough to meet the two-thirds requirement, so the proposal failed. more …

Opinion: The world loves its own (John 15:18-19). In this case, the world loves the governing body of the descendants of Esau whose patriarch vowed to kill Jacob (Genesis 27:41) but failed.

Hamas, Hebrew for violence, makes no secret of its hatred or intention to kill:

Goals of HAMAS: —————— ‘The Islamic Resistance Movement is a distinguished Palestinian movement, whose allegiance is to Allah, and whose way of life is Islam. It strives to raise the banner of Allah over every inch of Palestine.’ (Article 6)

On the Destruction of Israel: —————————– ‘Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it.’ (Preamble)

The Exclusive Moslem Nature of the Area: —————————————- ‘The land of Palestine is an Islamic Waqf [Holy Possession] consecrated for future Moslem generations until Judgment Day. No one can renounce it or any part, or abandon it or any part of it.’ (Article 11)

We are witnesses to the antagonists (Exodus 17:16) of God’s chosen people (Deuteronomy 7;7-8). The UN, representing the world, has staked its claim for Edom, patriarch of Amalek. The Church of Jesus Christ must reject Edom’s demands.

Time to take a side.

  1. It’s funny that they mention judgement day. I would imagine that their version of that day would include mohammed returning or some variation of that.
