Jerusalem online: The U.S. Green Party, as a matter of policy, considers itself sufficiently credible and authoritative as to advocate dismantling the State of Israel and replacing it with “the creation of one secular, democratic state for Palestinians and Israelis on the land between the Mediterranean Sea and the River Jordan.”
It buys, lock-stock-and-barrel, into the BDS [boycott and sanctions] campaign aimed at undermining Israel’s very existence, naively believing “that BDS can become the most effective nonviolent means for achieving justice and genuine peace between Palestinians and Israelis.” In this manner, it supports the hostile and irresponsible propaganda propagated by elements seeking the destruction and delegitimization of Israel.
It appears that the U.S. Green Party cannot find genuine environmental and ecological “green” issues with which to concern itself, and prefers to concentrate its efforts with its illogical fixation with, and crusade against Israel. more …
Opinion: “One World, One Chance, Vote Green Party.”
The Green Party of the United States has decided that the root cause of environmental problems in the Middle East lies squarely on the shoulders of Israel.
In their own words: “The party calls on all civil-society institutions and organizations around the world to implement a comprehensive divestment and boycott program [of Israel]. Further, the party calls on all governments to support this program and to implement state-level boycotts.”
The U.S. Greens ignore that despite the fact that Israel remains in a state of war with Palestinians of the West Bank, Gaza and Hezbollah, and may soon be living in the shadow of Iranian nuclear missiles, it maintains a viable and thriving democracy.
Jill Stein is an American physician, activist, and perennial candidate. She was the Green Party’s nominee for President of the United States in the 2012 and 2016 elections and candidate for governor of Massachusetts in 2002 and 2010.
Stein was raised in Highland Park, Illinois. Her parents were descended from Russian Jews, and Stein was raised in a Reform Jewish household, attending Chicago’s North Shore Congregation Israel. She now considers herself agnostic.
Without God, people embrace ’causes’ to fill the hole in their lives. The more Godless, the more passionate they become. Anti-Semitism in the church age has grown more pernicious for over 2000 years.
