Episcopal Church Maine: “She Has Spoken Through the Prophets” Is the Holy Spirit a She?

Ken Ham: The Nicene Creed reads, in part,

And we believe in the Holy Spirit,

the Lord, the giver of life.

He proceeds from the Father and the Son,

and with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified.

He spoke through the prophets.

Well, a newly consecrated bishop, Rev. Thomas Brown (formerly the director of education for a Planned Parenthood branch), who is “married” to a male priest, read the latter part of that section of the Creed as “She is worshipped and glorified. She has spoken through the Prophets”—referring to the Holy Spirit as a “she.”

Apparently, in this particular denomination (which allows for gay weddings and supports abortion, saying this murderous practice must be treated as “all other medical procedures”), “inclusive language” is preferred. But this was reportedly the first time anyone had publicly changed the pronouns used in the Nicene Creed to declare God was a she! more …

Opinion: Last week we posted this headline:

“Presbyterians Descend Into Depravity With Drag Service, First Non-Binary Pastor”

That post received over 1000 page views with responses in a few days on the blog and Facebook. Satan is working non-stop to corrupt the denominations, 2 Timothy 4:3-4:

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.”

The time has come. It is important to keep in mind that false teaching had begun in Paul’s day. His charge to Timothy is to be vigilant which echoed 1 Peter 5:8:

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”

It was in the 2nd century AD that the early church fathers began to stray from the apostles’ teaching of the literal word of God. When that happened, any and every evil thing became possible. Supposed holy men allegorized Scripture, labeled the Jew a killer of Christ, declared their doctrines and traditions equal to Scripture, and co-opted from the Abrahamic Covenant that to be saved a person must be a member of the church.

Catholic Catechism: Outside the Church there is no salvation (here).

Paul in 2 Thess. 2:7-8 teaches that total evil on earth is not yet:

“For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.”

The He (not she) is the Holy Spirit. When He and the church He indwells is taken up (1 Thess. 4:16-17) “then the lawless one will be revealed”.
