Jewish Press: In writing “The U.N. Agency for Palestinians Is Even Worse Than You Imagine,” Alex Joffee of the Middle East Forum and Asaf Romirowsky, executive director of Scholars for Peace in the Middle East.

UNRWA is the sole UN agency to be focused on one “refugee” population – that is, the multi-generational descendants of the refugees of a single population — more than half a century ago. They add that the crisis is also an opportunity for donors to the agency to band together to demand a “phaseout plan for the entire organization.

“Unrwa’s (sic) 30,000 employees could join the Palestinian Authority, which would take over its health, education and welfare responsibilities like the state it claims to be,” Joffee and Romirowsky write.

Opinion: The WSJ report would be funny if it weren’t sad. The charade of UN agencies supporting a made up people group is as pathetic as it is dishonest. The UN dictators club has cost the lives of tens of thousands of Arabs and Jews.

Excerpt: Antichrist: The Search for Amalek pg. 132:

“By the end of 2010, the number of Palestinian refugees on
United Nations Relief and Workers Agency rolls had raised to nearly
five million, several times the number that left Palestine in 1948.

UNRWA’s definition of a refugee also covers the descendants
of persons who became refugees in 1948. According to the World
Heritage Encyclopedia (List of Palestine Refugee camps), the number
of registered Palestine refugees (RPR) has subsequently grown from
914,000 in 1950 to approximately 12 million in 2013.

The right of return refers to the claims of first-generation
Palestinian refugees and their descendants to recover the property
they or their ancestors left before the 1948 Arab-Israeli War.

These are the same refugees who turned down a two-state solution in
1947 and chose war instead.”

UNRWA runs the schools that Arab children attend. In a study released in September 2017 by the Center for Near East Policy Research, the Simon Wiesenthal Center and the Middle East Forum, it found that the United Nations Relief and Works Agency books showed there was no hope for peace in the region.

According to the Palestinian schoolbooks, Jews have no rights whatsoever in Palestine but only “greedy ambitions.” The books also say that Jews have no holy places there either – the Western Wall in Jerusalem, the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron and Rachel’s Tomb in Bethlehem are all presented as Muslim holy places threatened by Jews.

The study also shows that cities established by Jews in modern times, including Tel Aviv, are sometimes not shown on maps either. (source)

It was UNRWA that took the side of Hamas in the 2008 ‘Operation Cast Lead’ . It was UNRWA that promoted the 2010 Gaza flotilla that destroyed a 60 year relationship between Israel and Turkey, it was UNRWA who in the 2014 war (Protective Edge) found 20 rockets in a UN shelter and turned over to police friendly to Hamas instead of a third party, and it UNRWA who  changed the definition of refugee only for Arabs:

“Historically, a refugee is someone forced to leave a permanent or habitual home. For the Palestinian Arabs only, the definition is changed from “permanent” or “habitual” to a two-year occupancy: ”persons whose normal place of residence was Palestine between June 1946 and May 1948, who lost both their homes and means of livelihood as a result of the 1948 Arab-Israeli conflict.” (source ‘From Time Immemorial’, Ruth Peters)

On August 31, 2018 President Trump instructed former UN Secretary to the UN, Nikki Haley, to end the UN farce, and announce that UNRWA would no longer be funded by the US.
