Erdogan Holding 50 US Tactical Nukes ‘Hostage’ As Trump Authorizes Sanctions

Zero Hedge: Amid all the media and pundit outrage since Turkey’s President Erdogan launched his so-called ‘Operation Peace Spring’ into northeast Syria last week, vowing to wipe out Syrian Kurdish forces who’ve long held the border areas, what’s been largely missing is acknowledgement of the uncomfortable fact that NATO ally Turkey has long hosted a major portion of America’s nuclear Cold War-era arsenal stored across Europe.

And as Erdogan threatens to “open the doors and send 3.6 million migrants” to Europe while under increased international criticism for the rapidly rising civilian death toll in Syria, The New York Times reports the following bombshell Monday: some 50 US tactical nukes are “now essentially Erdogan’s hostages”.

The Times cites growing alarm by top State and Energy Dept. officials over what the publication likens as a “disastrous” and confusing break from US policy in northern Syria, given not only further expected destabilization in the region, but worsening and unpredictable ties with Erdogan’s Turkey, given Trump is now preparing to sign into effect severe sanctions with the aim of attempting to “limit” his military incursion. more …

Opinion: When the news broke on the split-second decision on the US pullout I said this: “the president is breaking a commitment made to the Kurds that if they helped us clean out ISIS, we would protect them from the monster Erdogan. They did, and we didn’t.”

I am not a ME expert and am not clairvoyant. A literal reading of Biblical prophecy provides all we need to know about the outcome of each nation as they relate to God’s chosen people. All we need to do is study the word and work backwards from what we know must happen.

President Trump followed his gut and in a way that he is probably not aware of, he is fulfilling prophecy. In the final 3 wars of the Church Age, Israel will fulfill the prophecy of Numbers 23:9 “a nation dwelling alone not reckoned among the nations.”

The idea of enemy armies becoming so confused that they turn on one another is not a regular occurrence, but it has happened in Biblical prophecy in Judges 7 and 2 Chronicles 20, and it will happen again in the pre-tribulation war of Gog and Magog:

“I will summon a sword against Gog on all my mountains, declares the Sovereign Lord. Every man’s sword will be against his brother. 22 I will execute judgment on him with plague and bloodshed; I will pour down torrents of rain, hailstones and burning sulfur on him and on his troops and on the many nations with him.” Ezekiel 38:21-22

You see, after Jesus claims His bride the church in the rapture (1 Thess. 4:16-17), God turns His attention to saving His chosen people, and when He does that, it will be so spectacular that, even unbelievers will wonder but the Jews will not. It will be time to go home (Ezekiel 39:28; Amos 9:15; Matthew 24:15-16).

  1. Turkey has invaded Syria using rebel troops from the Free Syrian Army, which escaped into Turkey when Assad and Putin started winning the civil war.
This puts Turkey in direct opposition to Russia, Syria and Iran.
Depending on Turkey’s commitment level to winning against the Kurds, who are now aligned with Syria and Russia, will they be willing to use these nukes to eliminate the military headquarters in Damascus?
