Times of Israel: Israel is reportedly negotiating with several Gulf states on a “non-aggression pact” between them as they face off against an increasingly emboldened Iran. The deal, which Channel 12 news described as potentially “historic,” aims to put an end to the state of conflict between the Gulf states and Israel, and reportedly provides for friendly relations, cooperation in a variety of fields, and no war or incitement against each other.
Advancing the Israeli initiative, Foreign Minister Israel Katz met on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly last month with several foreign ministers from Arab Gulf states, Channel 12 news reported Saturday night.
Opinion: Middle East peace is in the air. Foolish men ignoring Scripture are setting up for a false peace found in …
Daniel 9:27 “Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate,”
2 Thessalonians 5:3 “For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.”
Both passages warn of trouble. Daniel gives us ‘he’, Antichrist, confirming a peace treaty with Israel and her neighbors leading to a temple with animal sacrifice. At the midway point of the 7 years he cancels the treaty and declares himself god, creating the abomination. In Mathew 24:15-16 Jesus tells the Jews that when the abomination occurs they should flee to a place where they will be safe (Daniel 11:46) and where they will acknowledge Jesus as Messiah and come to redemption (Zechariah 12:10).
In 2 Thessalonians 5:3 Paul warns of sudden destruction, with no escape.
But a 1000 years of real of peace is coming for Israel.
Excerpt Two Trains: The Return of Jesus Christ
Israel’e eternal enemy is defeated:
“Who is this who comes from Edom, With dyed garments from Bozrah,
This One who is glorious in His apparel, Traveling in the greatness of His strength? —
“I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save”
Why is Your apparel red, And Your garments like one who treads in the winepress?
“I have trodden the winepress alone, And from the peoples no one was with Me. For I have trodden them in My anger, And trampled them in My fury; Their blood is sprinkled upon My garments, And I have stained all My robes.”
Jesus brings the Jewish remnant to salvation:
Zechariah 12:10 The House of David and those in Jerusalem are Corporately Saved
“And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.”
Romans 11:26-27 “And so all Israel will be saved …”
“The Deliverer will come out of Zion,
And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob;
For this is My covenant with them,
When I take away their sins.”
– The Triumphant Return
“Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: Revelation 19:11-16
