Breitbart: The United States was warned Wednesday by the United Nations it cannot avoid compensating poorer nations hit by climate change, despite Donald Trump honoring his election promise of leaving the 2015 Paris climate agreement.
Delegates and observers at the COP25 negotiations in Madrid told AFP that Washington seeks a change to the U.N. climate convention that could release it from punitive “loss and damage” funding for developing nations which is predicted to run into the billions of dollars.
Green groups have claimed the increased pace and intensity of climate disasters, such as the twin cyclones that devastated parts of Mozambique this year, means that funding needs boosting to keep track.

Opinion: 25,000 delegates and 1,500 journalists flew gigantic airplanes to get to and return from this climate meeting – when all they really needed to do was send the US a bill for 300,000,000,000.
All we need now is another Barack Obama in the White House and the check will be in the mail ASAP.
That the 2015 Paris Climate Accords were all about taxing the US was obvious since the world’s biggest polluter, China, was given until 2030 to comply. The plan was/is to lower the temperature of the earth by 1.5 degrees by 2021.
I wonder where they stick the thermometer?
