In the days to come, The Mount of Hashem‘s House Shall stand firm above the mountains And tower above the hills; And all the nations Shall gaze on it with joy. Isaiah 2:2 (The Israel Bible™)

Breaking Israel News: Israel’s defense minister and head of the New Right party, Naftali Bennett, spoke to a Yeshiva (male seminary) in northern Israel on Wednesday criticizing a political rival who Bennett claims doesn’t treat Israel’s state institutions as playing an integral role in the Redemption process.

Bennett then lamented what he sees as a current attitude of lawlessness in Israel saying that the reason that the Second Temple was destroyed was because everyone “followed their own rules.”

“We need to understand the big picture” Bennett said adding “today we are in (the era of) the Third Temple.” Read More …

Opinion: Join the debate. Three temples or four?

Many Christians believe there will be 4 temples. Religious Jews, however, believe there will be 3 temples in total. I am with the Jews, and prophecy indicates that the 3rd temple will be built after the Gog Magog war when the Jews return to the land and seek a covenant relationship with God. An up and coming world leader will accommodate them.

“Then they will know that I am the LORD their God, for though I sent them into exile among the nations, I will gather them to their own land, not leaving any behind.” Ezekiel 39:28.

  • The first temple was built by Solomon and destroyed by the Babylonians in 586 BC
  • The second temple was built by Zerubbabel (remodeled/expanded by Herod) and destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD
  • The third (Tribulation) temple will be built by Antichrist (Daniel 9:27) and, I believe, will be remodeled, expanded (Ezekiel 40-45) and cleansed by Jesus Himself. This temple will never be destroyed

We know that Daniel’s 70th week (Daniel 9:24-27) is split into two 3.5 year, 1260 day segments. Daniel 12:11-13 however tells us that there will be an extra 30+45 (75 days) added at the end of the tribulation before Jacob’s blessing (Genesis 27:28-29) will be fully realized (Zechariah 8:23).

Immediately after the great tribulation, we are told in Matthew 24:29 that ‘the Sun and Moon will go dark, and the stars will fall from the sky’. During this brief period of darkness (possibly 30 days) while the survivors are confident of His coming, the Lord goes to Edom to finish Israel’s eternal enemy (Isaiah 63:1-3), and brings the remnant of Jews to salvation (Zechariah 12:10).

“Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.” Matthew 24:30

Imagine the brilliance of the shekinah glory of the Lord coming with His faithful church (Rev. 17:14) and the armies of heaven (angels Rev. 19:14), against a black sky (Rev. 19:11-16).

We are still left with 45 days and it may be that Ezekiel set aside that time for the cleansing of the third temple as happened in the second temple at the miracle of Hanukkah on the 25th day of Kislev (December) in 165 BC.

On that date, exactly three years after Antiochus Epiphanes created the first abomination of Desolation by erecting a statue of Zeus in the temple, the altar and temple were rededicated to God.
